We are delighted to announce Brew York’s latest plans. Brewing Services worked on the feasibility and brewery design during inception, installation and  helping to commission the first brews.

The key to their success is their promotion of the beers and the Brew York brand. At Brewing Services Ltd we have long advocated that brewers these days need more than just good beer (and that is essential), to be successful in the modern craft beer world.  The easier part of the formula for setting up a new brewery is having your own facilities by creating a venue on site and selling direct to the drinking public, which along with good promotion of the brewery brands (in the case of Brew York their award-winning, eye-catching, contemporary designs produced by United by Design also based in York), has to be now considered as much a part of the start-up plan as the good design of the brewery, the equipment, and of course the beers.

 A great location in the centre of York (and far enough away as to not be confused with York Brewery), has allowed them to have their own bar facilities (good for cash flow), and sufficient extra space for hosting in-house events and future production expansion, which has already taken place even after such a short existence.
