We’d like to congratulate Reunion Ales for their gold medal success for their canned Porter, ‘Pia’ (4.4%) in the Small Pack Dark Beers category, and which will now go through to the National competition in March 2019. Reunion also got a bronze medal for their other canned beer, Jump-start session IPA (4.0% ) in the Small Pack Session IPA category.

Well done also to Redemption Brewery for their bronze medal in the cask session IPA competition for ‘Rock the Kazbek’ (4.0%). It’s good to see breweries regularly winning prizes and showing the quality and consistency of their beers, against increasing opposition from so many newer breweries. Another regular contender for medals is Hammerpot Brewery who this year won a bronze medal in the Small Pack dark beer category for ‘Red Hunter’ (4.3%).
