Time to start your own brewery? Lacuna Brewing Co is for sale. It’s a great set-up in a fantastic location, and the current owners are looking to sell it as is. It’s an active brewery, so has all the equipment needed to operate immediately.

Summary of equipment:
• Brewhouse: 1500L HLT, mash tun (capacity 225kg malt) & underback, 6bbl kettle with 12kw and 9kw elements and separate WP, racking and dumping valves. Transfer pumps, 43 plate heat exchanger and transfer pipes.
• Fermenters: 3x 1200L stainless steel, jacketed conical fermenters. Include carb. stones, racking arm. All pressure rated 2-3 bar. Date of manufacture 2x 2022, and 1x 2020.
1x 900L stainless steel, jacketed conical fermenter. Separate racking and dumping valves. Pressurise 1-2 bar.
2x 1600L dish bottom fermenters. Separate racking and dumping valves. Pressurise 1-2 bar. (We use one as our CLT)
• TAE EVO 031 Glycol chiller – capable of running the fermenters at 1-2 degrees. Full connecting insulated pipework, solenoidal valves and temperature controls.
2x remote glycol chillers – each capable of cooling one tank to 1-2 degrees.
• Packaging: duofiller and cannular semi-auto. 64 x 30L stainless steel kegs.
• 3 x 6 m cold room with cooler and external heat dump. We comfortably run it around 6.5 degrees.
• 90L pilot plant: HLT, mash tun, kettle, transfer pump, heat exchanger, piping. One 90L stainless steel, jacketed, pressure rated conical fermenter. A selection of smaller plastic fermenters.
• Taproom area: keg connectors, beer pipework, 8 taps (serve through cold-room wall), glasses, glass washer, double door can fridge. 1 x 2 line Lindr. 8 x beer festival style folding tables and plenty of stools.
• Mezzanine area for storage.
Unit size – 6m x 15m. Polyurethane screed floor – 6m x 10m. 8m drainage channel.
As an operating brewery it includes a range of fixtures and fittings as well as some malt, hops and yeast. 1/3 pallet of cans, boxes for packaging etc.
